` meet me halfway

Dance like no one's watching,
Love like you've never had your heart broken,
Live as though heaven is on earth.
- Souza

I went for this ASAYO formation over last weekend that was supposed to prepare us for Sydney WYD. The part I enjoyed most was the Amazzing Race where we were supposed to expect the unexpected. Literally. There were two z's in the word Amazing because they were trying to avoid copyright infringement. 0.o

We had to run around the entire Kuala Lumpur which was a pain in the feet cos I was wearing 'em flip-flops. Gee. What a time to wear 'em. Then again, Havaianas tahan lasak! :) In the end, it was the most practical cos it started raining cats and dogs pigs and cows. Everyone else who wore sneakers and all just got soaked to the core. Hee. I had so much to say about the whole thing but I'm just so lazy to elaborate. Please bear with my shortcuts.

I have never in my life watched the Amazing Race. Yes. I know. Laugh at me. Go on. Now stop. As one of the "road blocks", we had to get a foreigner to sing our National Anthem. I found this French guy who was kind enough to do it for us! On a random note, he's a volunteer helping out in an Autistic centre.

Besides having to answer alot of GK questions (that we had the CC at Pudu to thank), we had to count the number of steps leading to the Pudu overhead bridge, find the cheapest bus ticket to Singapore and more. The Singapore thing was an indirect question which had a group ending up in Sunway Pyramid (cos part of the question had something to do with a Lion). HAHA.

Anyway, eight of us had to drink a mixture of four raw eggs, wasabi and bandung. Yuck. Raw eggs. It was a mutual thing because Mikey got the raw egg part and I got the Wasabi part that he didn’t like. ☺ whee! Our group of ten had to also memorize the “Our Father” prayer in Latin. Super “chee gek” like the Chinese would say. Lol. Thank goodness this Mark guy had the first four lines in the bag.

Did I mention that David had to eat a alive and hopping cricket while Mikey had to eat an alive and squirmy worm? YES. THEY HAD TO. Besides that, they had the Sarawak bamboo dance thing going on which was cool, but the rain had us all drenched, thus wetting the hall floor. I slipped and yes, I got my ankles smashed between the bamboos! How much more exciting was that compared to walking into a hall powered by eight blasting aircons after running under the smashin rain for the last 20 minutes? AWESOME huh!

Believe me, I’m not complaining. I had an awesome time! Thank you my team members for putting up with me and my “do I look like I need to drink water considering the fact I’m drenched and water’s on the free flow counter?” Hehe. *peace!

sampan!
“If can’t find a bf who’d give us slippers, find a gf who’d buy us chun shoes!” Haha. Quote of the day.

And then there was Gary.

He HAHAHAHA. Full stop.

On Sunday, Josh, Mikey, Jo-Ann, Laura and I had amazing BAK KUT TEH while the 20 odd rest of them ate mamak food for brunch before heading back to the formation venue (KL). Since there was going to be the AmBank KL International Marathon there, Kevin decided that he knew the way to the new Smart Tunnel (which the government spent approximately RM4billion building but forgot to put sign boards up for). However, we were going through U-turns after U-turns. It was a scenario of the blindest leading the blind. =_=’ And we ended up in OUG.

*throws shoe at Kevin

Finally we decided that it’d be too late if we got to the formation (IF we did). So, we decided to “end” the joy ride. Ended up at some ware house sale with the bunch of happening people who “boria” and wore same shirts. We even cut the Ipod sales people off! LOL. Anyway, we were so cool and people gave us free drinks *woohoo*, took photos of us *kembang*, gave us little notepads *uh huh* and freshly cut oranges. Fine. Sunkist was having a promotion la. Haha. I think we were the only nut heads who were bothered about it at all. Poor Vanessa drove for the first time today and she got all that. Whoops!

When we were heading back, this was what happened.
Josh, Laura, Me

“I need to shit”
“Don’t fart in here!”
“Won’t la. All solid. No gas.” “Fine. Maybe abit of liquid too.”
*the heck?*

On a absolutely private note, for those who are aware of Spike, Spike is officially gone (due to transplant in Siam).

Had replacement class today then I followed Eileen and Denise, went to BSC to meet mom and Aunty Winnie for dim sum.

the Ming restaurant, BSC

Alright. I’m so lazily retarded, I am so lazy to blog about my free, no-strings-attached movie in Pavillion today. The day ended with the parking ticket costing more than my food plus drinks AND free movie. D: *high five* Poor Laura and Rafie were equally stunned.

But OMFGDNS, Laura sent “cash” to 33399 for the first freaking time and she got the cash call and won RM300!

Despite my empty mouth, the words are in my mind.
Please wear the face, the one where you smile.
Because you lighten up my heart,
When I start to cry.

` boulevard of dreams

As stated by the pictures, *smacks a mosquito against laptop - @#$%^&* I went to SOULed OUT for lunch with mommy today. Shiz I despise these damned mosquitoes in my room. Fine, it was one. But, it was ONE! Where the hell did it come from? ... Anyway, back to Hartamas, we went to ICCA to get some stuff. :)

Anyway, due to unforeseen circumstances (yeah right), I was stuck with two donkeys (i'm chnging this cos Clint is being such a pain) "omgdns-oh-i-think-i'm-hot-although-i'm-not" guys for the movie 10,000 BC. haha. I'd like to see your reaction now. *innocent smiles* Clinton drove his car that has these added/pimped up effects that comes with it. Literally. He claims to be a safe driver *cough cough*. He avoids (or at least he tries to) every bump or hole in the road. The one bump he took, he kissed his car and said sorry baby. YES he did. =_=

Rafie thought that everyone was going to ffk so he wore three quarters, thus he ended up freezing in the theater. When he offered to help me hold my bag, I knew it was too good to be true. But oh well, I just gave it to him since I could dispose the baggage for the two hours. "Next time bring a bigger bag! Damn cold man." Geez. When I carry big bags, you guys complain. When I bring something half the size, you say I need a bigger bag.

Anyway, on the way home, driver Clinton stopped right in the middle of the road and irritated this "ang moh" biker man who was holding on to his helmet. He gave a killer stare, put on his helmet, stared again and started to rev. Stupid me had to say "oh he's coming!" and Clinton, for the first time (since I started sitting in his car) just picked up his speed a little bit and the rest was history. He was happy that he "won". Haha. Or so he thought.

P/s: Do not keep personal items in the glove compartment of the car for the sanity of all. haha. *wink wink wink*

pps: No point comparing!

ppps: No need present, thanks.

keep talking to me,
Michelle.

You're in the heat of moments
With your heart playing up cold.
I'm between the middle,
Watching hastiness unfold.

` hey Jude!

I love food. Went to delicious with mom for lunch yesterday. The both of us shared a starter, main course then dessert. Boy oh boy were we stuffed to our limits! I love their scones. Probably the best tasting things in their shop besides illy! Woohoo.
*high on caffeine laugh*

After lunch, we went to MPH and mom bought me this cake decorating/recipe book which is literally to die for. Alright. Maybe not to die for but it was, in my terms, awesome-blossom-magnosome. :) I bought a journal to fill up with more recipes. Lol.

Besides all that hoo-ha, had choir practice last night then went to Rasta (which an innocent friend of mine believed to be a "club"). I got into the car and friend was going all "Hey we going clubbinggg!" *excited jumps* Okay. I'm stopping here before I get unknowingly assassinated against my will to live. haha. And apparently, the guys ate rabbit, deer and prolly beef satay. Gee. Anyway, did I mention that I had the worse ever afternoon-mare ever? Nightmare but in the afternoon, thus ending up with the term afternoon-mare. Shiz.

"propel" *coughchokedie* "us" *laughchokedie* "forward"

Which part of his patient methods of putting the building blocks to transform Malaysia?
Fifty percent to all of you who are interested in what he has in mind about "us" moving forward. My condolences to all you (please fill in a word of your choice here) who bought the book at full price. =_=v

Anyway, to all the people who asked if I had a video of the performances, here it is.
The videos were taken using my sisters Sony Ericsson P1i so please forgive the quality. haha.

The Thailand Rainbow boys! *excited cheers*

haha.

On a really random note, you know you're a big time loser when:
- You beat the red light and the driver (on the right side of the law) deliberately gets into your way for beating the red light. *innocent smile*
- You try your utmost best to rev your sad little car engine to avoid the stare.
- She catches up with you at the bend cos you can't take a bend.
- You try to beat another red light to avoid the stare (and prolly the middle finger)
- You end up right next to the car and realise the driver's a girl (and you're a guy)!
(It's okay to feel embarrassed. You should. Awh.)
- You try to cut her and stay as far from her car.

BUT, she effortlessly pulls away from you. *tsk tsk*

YOU BIG ASS FAT LOSER. :)
I've had good training for situations like these. *grins*

Sorry guys. This is just me whining about these stupid mindless idiots who beat the freaking red light. Yes. If you do, just make sure i'm not on the right side of the law. Cos it pisses all the hell out of me. Literally. Yeah.

Besides that, you know you're a Chinese when you hold one side of your nose and blow the other to clear your nose boogies at the side of the road. *shrugs* I just saw that today and I was pretty irritated. Pretty gross. It just reminded me of an email a friend once sent to me. 88 tell tale signs that you're a Chinese. Haha. It was pretty funny. It's no offense to any Chinese in particular k. I'm a Chinese too (like duh!)! Whee. And I can tell that (only) some of them were pretty true, if I used my life as the benchmark. 88 of the were definitely true if I used some typical Ah ma or Ah Pek as the benchmark. Oh well. Emails. :)

Oh anyway, mom made deliciously fattening vanilla cupcakes and a Madeira cake today. *gleams* I'm well fed. I'm not fat. I'm just well taken care of and I eat for two. That's all. Whee.

here's something for a good laugh. :)

` acquired taste

I am currently eating assam. My kawan here just helped me finish the assam that i've had in store for 2 weeks. She's freaking reading my freaking baby diaries! Baby diaries being the diaries I wrote when I was eleven to 14 years old. Haha.

I feel like a complete donkey who needs a camel to help dig a hole in the ground to hide my ostrich head. Yeah. I tried to get my friend to play a prank and it kinda backfired aBIT. 0.o You have no idea how my heart could just beat one second and next just stop short. Indescribable. Swear I thought my heart fell into my stomach and was getting ready to be digested. Ok enough said. Happy ending anyway! hahaha. :) Ivan buy me a car ya!!!! I know you're bound to see this. Lol.

Currently listening to: Morning Angel

Anyways, I went to Calvary church today for their Youth Easter Rally. Wore a stupid shirt that got people asking me stuff about it. Please remind me not to do such things again! Btw, people being even my DVD peddler. Bish. On a lighter note, I love this particular friend of mine because we're a pair of curious cats. Literally. She is my favourite when it comes to the things we do. (Massageeee!) On a lighter note, "You'll know a cat is dead when the eyes pop out. Nine lives all gone in one. :)"

My other donkey darling friend is in BangKok. She messaged me earlier today, ranting about how they haven't found places to shop (for me, thanks!). But, Thai guys are ****ing hot (according to her). Hahaha. I'll have one of those too, thanks!

Next up. Lately, I have met a few friends of my age (or a little older) who have their future spouses in mind, like literally. That's besides the topic. If you had a other half and kept "not-a-secret" from him/her when you plan to marry him/her, it's just not right. Or is it? Because some people say "it's not a secret because I didn't do anything wrong". "But i just don't want to tell him/her about her/him". Okay. Let me soak in my own train of confused thoughts.

Edit

Will it be fair to say that if we disrespect people at their baptism, it is fine if people disrespect you at your funeral? In our situation, saying at your baptism would be redundant. Yeah. Just needed to say that.

Was at Easter vigil at church last night, from 10pm to 1am. Was supposed to go to Mikey's house to celebrate with Lamb and shepherds pie and more. Was is the keyword of the previous statement because when I was done with church, I couldn't bear to stand for another second. Saying that I was pretty much stoned would be a complete understatement to the way I was feeling but I can't find another word now. Other than that, the most exciting part of the night would've been the part where Mikey's pants just tore. :) Oh by the way, I referred to the supper as celebrate because most of us have fasted/abstained from meat over Lent. Ta-daa! Meat is good, no? Came back home and ate spam!

Anyways, today I had a mad Japanese lunch at Shogun. To start off, I was barely up and ready to eat. But, I tried my best to eat my share of the buffet. Plus, me not eating all the sashimi makes it distinctly not worth the while of going for a Japanese buffet. Yes, I eat anything cooked, thanks. Nothing raw. Medium steak is as raw as my food ever gets. *rolls eyes* The first time I tried consuming Sashimi, I had to literally down a glass of green tea to swallow the damned thing like a pill. :) So dad, mom and Rach had to pack in the sashimi and oysters (did I mention I don't eat clams, oysters and all these weird seafood thingamabobs too?) and what not to cover the cost of me eating there. Lol. I LOVE YOU GUYS.

"sorry Miss, no pictures!"

After that, I met Anne at Curve to watch this Charms cheer thingy. To put it kindly, it was awesomely boring, you have no idea what hit you. Except Charms and Rainbows performance, that is. They were pretty good. :) Rainbow consisted of this group of guys from Thailand in short tight pants. Woohoo. Guys (not Malaysian!) in short pants who can shake their booties are definitely something that hypes the Malaysian girls and guys up. ... Yeah. See Ming! The action you missed for leaving early! Lol. Up next, they had Belinda who had to emcee terribly like she was pretty much unprepared, with all the "let me see what to ask next" and all. She made a remark that got me rolling in my own stitches. "Save the cheerleaders!" Why was it so funny, you may ask? Cause at Curve, they had this group of WWF "volunteers" who kept handing out leaflets and flyers, trying to convince us to "Save the animals!" ... Okay fine. It doesn't sound that funny here but heck at that time, it got Anne and I rofl-ing. All of the above is of no disrespect to all the cheerleaders i know or not alright! I am looking forward to Cheer 2008 cause i'm pretty confident (I am?) that it'd be less disappointing! *laughs*

Anne and I went to take a few pictures with the Thailand cheerleaders. haha.

See Laura, you missed your favourite Mikey chops n shepherd pie! You went all the way to Thailand but we had Thailand come to ussss! *gleams* haha.

Alright. I'm running off now. *Lightning strikes and rumbling thunder sounds the background*

Not forgetting the Ipoh-mali guy,
Michelle

How often do you get to see the LDP so clear? 4am. Steer clear!

Last night was an eventful one. Met up with the "old" buddies for "supper". We ended up playing "I've never ... ". I suppose in that short hour, we learnt more about each other than we have in the past eight years! haha. It's good to know you're not alone aye?

Aunty and I found a new nail shop! Wheeee.

Currently listening to: A twist in my story

On a more serious note, I was in church this morning. Many people gathered at the entrance of church. Assuming the solemn faces and lack of decorations, it was going to be a funeral this time. Little did I know, this lady who had passed on wasn't just another ordinary person. She was definitely one who had affected lives positively, brought joy and good. Before I knew what was happening, the church was filled to its brim (which is VERY unusual for a funeral). At least if you've been for enough funerals in your term alive so far, you would know that there usually isn't a crowd. There were bus loads of people (literally buses full of people) coming to pay their last respects to this wonderful person they met by chance, or will. People from all over the world, different races, colours, culture and religion were there to pay their last respect to this lady who had obviously done well in her term on earth. Honestly, this would be the first funeral I have watched from afar and felt so in awe, even though I didn't personally know her. May she rest in peace.

That was weird, wasn't it? ...

` bombshell

thank you

I dislike cats and I'd opt for them to be shot dead anytime but this is a really pretty picture. Pretty enough for me to re-consider the thought of beheading them.

Question of the day: Who's been reading my blog? ... I mean I know of a bunch of people who read this blog. It's freaky how the numbers keep increasing as the day passes. Unless of course, you donkeys read it thrice (or more) a day. You know you love me la! Lol. Jk. I'm just checking!

Yay! No more classes for this week! Love love love. :) Thank you for making this a whole lot easier.

Anyways, if you're reading this, please try doing this. Using 30,28,27,10,4, add, subtract, multiply and divide, come up with answer 10. If you haven't got it, the answer's all the way down there. =_= However, if you have, good on you! :)

Now back to the topic of today.
Clean sweep of the day
: SMK Damansara Jaya elementarily triumphed over SMK Tropicana at the Wira Debate today. Ouch. Losing on home grounds must be pretty scandalous! They went on to live up to the SMKDJ reputation with their victory over SMK Damansara Utama. Congratulations. haha. Don't ask me why i'm so excited for them, I just am. :) Plus, they've been working their young butts off with help from their seniors! They should be getting somewhere this time round! I'm all for this team, for once. haha. Once again, congratulations! Girl, the next one's going to be a positive one I hope! :)

Did I mention that I'm a scuker for nail art? Yes. :) Again.

On a random note, my effing phone has been effing pissing me off. I'm going to bitch about this stupid nonsensical idiotic suicidal Nokia N73 Music Edition. It is a plain pain in the bottom hole. I charged it through the night, and when it was done charging this morning, I took it off the charger. The phone decided to hang in the afternoon. Okay. Tolerable. Off then on. THREE bars left. WTF! Con me meh! So anyway, it was so laggy then it suddenly decided to go bonkers and not ring, vibrate OR display any thing at all when I got a phone call or a text. I mean. A phone with low battery, and not working? WTF! Sorry. Just needed to do this. :(

picture says it all

I still feel sick. :( [(28+27-30)x4]/10

I'll be fine. Right?

Currently listening to: Colours

I still haven't found my mouse. Dammit.

Here goes. I realised that I can depend on miss-i-think-we-should-exercise to bloody wake me up at any time of the day. I mean. Even when I "lose" my transport at 7.30am, her only response is "oh okay. I come pick you up now k? Bye". I mean.. Hello? It's 7.30am, i'm still in bed (if it even matters to you)! Have you considered our precious and oh-so-deserved sleep? You and I know best! We only had three freakin short hours of sleep and we went and ran Kiara. Literally. How do I succumb to all these, I have absolutely no idea. How did I even let you convince me to run THAT long! Moreover, how did I keep running when we left that fatty back at the intersection! And babe I'm really sorry about Sunday! And i'm telling you, it's The Mans playing pranks on us. Swear it wasn't my idea. All I did was ask for some guidance!

Oh btw, I graced it! I graced it! If you've read my previous blogs, you'll know what I "graced". Hehe. Oh and friend, sorry I kept you waiting that long today! *grins* PSP this year. Don't run away! *innocent smile* :)

Since Sunday has come and gone, I can finally say "omgosh the GAP sling bag was a total steal! Wahhhhhhhh! And the IPod nano super de duper cool, right? I promised you'd be a happy person by the end of the day!" See, I kept my promise! AHHH! *gleams.grins.laughs.chokes.smiles*

yummilicious, don't you agree? :)

So, my sister has been really up to her throat eyes, being real busy with the preparations for numerous events. Guys, time to buy the toto! She stayed up until 3am last night! haha. You know what that means. =_=' For those of you who don't already know, my gorgeous sister sleeps latest at 10pm! Every night. o.0 I know. *rolls eyes* Beauty queen or sleeping beauty, your choice. Anyways, here's the funny thing she told me about her coach. "Your right leg must touch your head. I don't care how. Just do it." Aiyah girl, can la! Anyways, I stayed up with her till 1am yesterday night while she was furiously tapping the keyboard. I had Mahathir's bread. Lol. It was yummy.

My first was like.. 0.o Anyway, friend was really sweet and kind this morning, thanks. Thanks for everything and all you did! *hugs* Don't know what would've happened to me otherwise! Can't believe you left me overwhelmed like you did. And thank goodness you know where the toilets are! Moreover, a note? :) FYI its stuck on my shelf! har har. Met a few new girls today. :) Met this one girl who has two of my chinese names. She's learning Korean and her attempt to teach me the consonants did not work! I'll tell you when I get it, ever. =_= Anyway, I don't know why i've been feeling this sick lately. I haven't got the strength to do anything! Let alone, walk the entire block? o.0 I wanna feel better. ...

I love my papa, my saviour! :)

TTFN,
Michelle!

God is great. I begin to see the wonders of simple prayers that make a whole lot of difference. God I love you. Thank you, for everything in every way. The chances, the trials, the pain, the joy and most of all, the love i am showered with.

screenshot and/of bunting by yours truly. haha.

It's pretty obvious it's a screenshot cos the colour just sucks.
It isn't as vibrant as the original! :(

I'm hungry. Anyway, the header says "Are you HUNGRY?"
Come eat, come feast, come enjoy!

1.45am: one down. one more banner to design. Need to wake up at 7.30am!

Apparently i'm supposed to go Kiara tomorrow again, although I went today. Well, what are friends for? Then again, it's good training if we're going to stay safe while we go to Australia. LJ, you better toughen up woman! Anyway, i'm so planning to have fun running the cafeteria as always. Remember the drinks we sold at the last round? Four different drinks in a day. We're so skilled! :) No sushi this year though! Too lazy.

I'm so freaking pissed now. I've been rummaging through just about everything and I haven't found my mouse. My white, sexay, pretty, effing expensive i-had-to-pay-for-it-myself mouse. Yes friend, if you are reading this, laugh at me. Laugh at the time I went on a roll, checking every shop cause we saw another shop selling the same mouse for a whooping fifty cents cheaper. *sniffles* Laugh at the time I was like "wa luckily I bought it there" when we saw it selling at a measly fifteen ringgit more. *cheapskate* Stupid you. I bought branded mouse cos of you ok. You better come my house to look for it!~

2 more days to go...

Nevertheless, i'm so effing happy now!
