` studied perfection

This post is dedicated to Prosper and Promise, literally. For bringing the bundles of joy!

Kid,
you know you'll always be a part of me cos i'll need you to hold my hand sometimes (and send me a couple of too-long-to-read-at-12am messages once in a while). *smiles*
I need you to tell me how I might be an idiot at certain moments of my life, shop with me, cry to me me, let me cry with you, cry to you, paint our nails, get all "i'm so fat" even though we're not all that fat *perasan* anyway, *sounding like an eight year old* Fwenz Forever!

But,
woly crockamoley. Prosperity comes in a big chunk. Not hunk! Chunk being bigger than the both of us plus together, which is pretty impossible to find huh! Prosperity might be big but we're nimble and quick *trying to console ourselves*! Thank goodness i'm the one with the common sense out of the three of us. "Common sense isn't so common anymore! har har har", is this line freaking familiar or what! haha. BTW for all those who don't already know, Prosper is a person. =_=

Yesterday night was eventful because he made the effort to tell me about the pebbles and the Joseph story. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. You creep into my life so subtly and prominently. Thank you and i'm sorry. You very well know why and I think you deserve it more than anyone else. And you're welcome, for this morning's message that I didn't reply, yet again. I hope you see this though. *goofy grin*

And I heard something that finally made sense recently. "If love was a drug, i'm sober".

On a random note,
day before yesterdays most cliched pickup line:
"Hi. You look familiar. Have we met before?"
day before yesterdays braniest decision:
"Hi. Do you have a phone/no.?"
"uh.. I gotta go inside now. See you later?" *yeah right!*
some random kid that made me laugh:
"che che?"
"yes my dear?"
"NO! I'm not a deer! I don't have *gesture horns above head*"
" ... *speechless* ... "

2am and I'm still awake, writing a song
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me,
Threatening
the life it belongs to

And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd

Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud

And I know that
you'll use them, however you want to.

your friend always & forever

*cough-hint-cough-cliche* haha

` schuyler's monster

I am not in the mood to blog.
Yesterday's results explained itself.

Last night to this morning was somewhat memorable and one to laugh at, literally.
Thank goodness I have friends in you guys! haha.

Ready to embrace the chills of the night!

Not forgetting our quick shut eye moments.
Blacks, we're proud of you. Very very proud!

I hate don't like it when
you lie.
Furthermore, you don't tell me that
you lie.
You come together to lie to me? That's worse.
The worst is when I find all of this out by myself without your knowledge.

And you, think that you know everything.
Yes you.
Will you ever realise that people act a certain way in front of you so that you see what you "want to see".
I hope you do. Not every thing's as rosy as you think it is.
Stop telling me what I should be.

` pure reflection

Over the past few days, I've actually had two very unbecoming dreams. Firstly, that my sister got a freaking pink (in the shade that has yet to exist) i-pod. Secondly, somehow or rather, when my parents were out of town, some bandits "landed" their helicopter in our balcony after kidnapping my godparents. =_=' sigh. To think that I was beginning to believe I had a streak of sanity somewhere deep in me! Darn.

The unbreakable bond
I just changed my bed sheets last night. Deciding to pamper myself, I put on a bed sheet, then a quilt. On top of that, I had two sets of comforters, four pillows and a bolster. You have absolutely no idea how amazing my bed is. However, down side of that whole "changing the sheets" scenario was that I noticed how I only had a few bed sheets to rotate. My bed, being a California King Size also means not being able to get normal sized sheets or buying sheets in normal departmental stores. *pfft* Sucks. I know. So one of the few I have was the set an Aunty bought for me from America. What's even worse about having the set is that the actual pillow sizes for the @#$%^&^%$##$%^ California King sized bed is approximately TWO TIMES LARGER than our fluffiest pillows we have in town! *frowns* So every time I try to fit my pillows in, I am just reminded of how tiny my pillows are! :(

Then again, if I am not contented with what I already have, i'll never be happy. Oh you and i'll bet I freaking !@#$%^&*()(*&^%$# love my bed! Why? When I talk to it, it doesn't gossip behind my back. When I hit it out of anger, it does not retaliate. It comforts me, takes care of me, keeps me warm, etc etc. Oh my gosh. That's as gay as i'm getting today! haha. Anyway, it is so comfy, I could just lie there all day long. A friend of mine says it's my sanctuary. Haha. I'm not denying that, am I? In fact, it's so comfy, you can't touch it. If you haven't bathe or wash your legs, move out of the way. Thanks. Oh and you're welcome! haha.

On a lighter note, want a pillow? Since the GE is nearly over, I'm glad to know i'm not the only one who enjoys dozing off!

By the way, has anyone noticed that lightning is usually followed by the rumblings of the thunder? I'm a chicken when it comes to sleeping alone in my room (in the silence of the night), and its past midnight and the flashes of lightnings warn you about the upcoming rolling stones thunder. Plus, the curtains in my room are day curtains and are pretty much transparent. Therefore, they're not exactly the most exciting to have to face them at nightfall. Don't get me wrong. I love them, I do. Why? Because I love the way the sunlight seeps through them in the day. :)

Today was a "Good morning beautiful" day. Was convinced to get out of my bed by the one and only. haha. Went to Kiara, it seems, to exercise! I felt nauseous when I got there. I didn't dare to tell the guys that I was nauseous cos I kickstarted my day with 3 slices of bread with butter and tuna! :O Emergency toilet break!!! haha. I love the guys who somehow or rather put up with my nonsense (or not). :)

Anyway, we rushed home because my friend had to rush to college, and I had an appointment to keep! My aunt and cousin are staying at my place. We had a retail therapy session planned for today. Now now people. We don't go back on our words when it comes to retail therapy! ;p haha. Oh and Joshua, i'm sorry I didn't come to surprise you! Have a blessed birthday alright? Last year before not being a teenager anymore! haha. Oh and Joshua would be the first name I have consciously typed onto this blog. =/

In conclusion of this post, I was going to go about swooning about how awesome he was today. But, I think i'll just bear in mind the man that was behind him all the while. Thank God. :) Oh and anyway, i saw some baby bumps today! That sure was fast! Time flies! :) Besides all that excitement, my puppies have grown! Their eyes have open and they're currently taking the most vital steps in their life (or so I think they are).

I shall be off for now. Going to go for vigil tomorrow night. No more gigi besi? haha.

Jumping for joy,
Michelle

` blood is blood

amazalicious!

Hello. Does anyone know the definition of slander? Yes. It is words falsely spoken to damage the reputation of another, or an abusive attack on a person's good character or good name. Now let us see where I got this whole thing about slander going on.

Yesterday, I was watching the 8pm English News a BN Minister said that the PKR members were slandering him because they were "desperate for attention" and that people shouldn't get into the habit of slandering. *newsflash* This piece of "news" was then followed by another BN candidate yelling over a podium, "Mereka Parti Kacau Rakyat, Parti Kecewa Rakyat, Parti Khianat Rakyat, Parti Klentong Rakyattttt!" In case you don't get the joke, the opposition party is called "Parti KeADILan Rakyat"

Pot calling the kettle black. How unruly. I mean, maybe there could be some form of truth in it, but it's still slander. Thanks. Oh and my friend from BN (word for word) said "Voting for the opposition would only bring disaster to the country". Well, so much for "we should not slander". One more thing! 2.4 million of our money on indelible ink, and not use it? Brilliant!

Besides all that drama, the 8pm news also stated that the current inflation rate has gone up dramatically. We've got the worst KLCI bench mark in Asia Pacific. Oh and fuel prices ARE going up after the GE. Woohoo! *rolls eyes*

"Do you want to make Malaysia stronger? This 8th of March, what are you voting for? Vote for Malaysia. Vote BN"
- radio ad. haha

Well, I've had a chanced conversation with two friends at two separate times. One has parents who says vote BN or die. Another has parents who say don't bother. Which one are you? On a random note, I was yelling at a friend today for no apparent reason and at a point I jokingly said a**hole! And all my friend said was "love you too". So much for trying to be annoying! o.0

According to the 100% accurate kennysia.com Who-To-Vote-This-Election Decision Generator™, I am voting for...

DEMOCRATIC ACTION PARTY!

Who Should You Vote For This Election?

too bad I can't vote anyway! haha.

Oh and Warren Buffet is officially the richest man in the world. Number one, which puts him before the Mexican Telecom Tycoon - Carlos Slim Heli and Bill Gates.

Suddenly, something's in my mind. I wore my Perlini's Silver dove necklace to church that day and a friend commented and said it was nice. *flashback and fiery mood* On my birthday three years ago, a friend said she was going to OU and said she could help me get my entire Perlini's Silver collection shined. Believe me, I gave her this entire box of jewelery to wash. Thank heavens not all! Then later that evening, she gave me this whole bullcrap story of how she was kidnapped, robbed and stranded. Bull*cough*shit. The story was so freaking effing "believable", I just cried on my birthday. I cried an entire two hours (even after she "swore" to buy me back or reimburse my loss). She never did. I'm not upset by the fact that she didn't reimburse my loss or whatsoever but it was the fact that she went through all the trouble of twisting the damned story just for that. You know, I actually thought you were my friend. I guess I thought wrong and I was stupid enough to trust you? Well thanks for showing me the real world, Friend!

Besides all this drama in life, friend and I spent some time talking about "spur of the moment" actions. Sure. It gives you the thrill for that one moment. When you sit down and think about it, you might just try walking through the wall or otherwise. There's good and bad in it. :) Believe me when I say the earrings were NOT to be the spur of the moment. :) I'm a girl. I would know, wouldn't I?

On a random note, to everyone who reads this (and myself), "when a person loves you, it is not good enough unless he loves you all the way".

Today would be the second day the two of us have been working at it! *pants* ROLL OVERRR! woohooo!

Food for thought, literally.
To be honest, I haven't been able to muster the courage I need to speak to her about her condition.
How she musters the strength to be more positive than I am, I don't know. :(
I hope you get better. I really do.

` shifting skull

The beginning
- the kid with the bleak light at the other end of the tunnel? haha

Oh does anyone know why I love my Mac?
Because, I know how to use it now!
wheee! screenshots!!!!!!

On a random note,
It's funny how when people suddenly realise/notice something,
they IM me and go straight to the point.
Does ANYONE think a simple form of greeting is in order anymore?
haha. Am I like that too?

Deep in thought,
Michelle

` on the contrary

*wipes off pedicure*

It's the time of empty promises, hanging messy banners and trying to make a name for themselves. Only thing is it came 14months in advance this time. On the contrary, there is one thing I particularly like about this time of the season. We get freshly tarred roads nearly everywhere. These people even make the extra effort to fill deep and long overdue holes (or what I feel is more like, meteor craters) in the roads. On the other hand, i'd like to assure you that even though it is smoothly tarred (for now), tarred roads in this country are just not destined for longevity. Reckless drivers, tractor and big-ass lorry drivers contribute to the terrible condition of our roads. Enough said for now.

Then again, while I was blog hopping some days ago, I came across this guy's blog who said he just saw a Mercedes taxi. He then concluded by saying "who says Malaysia is not richhhh?". What say you? Well, I say it takes an idiot to recognize another idiot. Concluding that because you've seen some "luxury" car turn into some form of public transportation, the country is rich? Well, it's a "luxury" car here because there is the import duties of about 300 percent? Therefore, the price increment actually makes it a "luxury" car when it's nothing much to shout about. Okay I sound like a whine pot. But yeah. It is irritating. Maybe I am. Who cares? haha. Don't read me then!

"Warren Buffett, the billionaire investor, today declared that the United States was in a recession as he withdrew an offer to bail out the increasingly troubled bond insurance industry.
Mr Buffett, the world's third-richest man, said that "from a commonsense standpoint right now we're in recession", despite the fact America had yet to report two consecutive quarterly falls in gross domestic product, the technical definition of a downturn."
- March 3, 2008
Times Online

"Wild fluctuations on the Chinese stock markets continued yesterday as the Shanghai Composite index of "A" and "B" shares fell by more than 7pc."
- Telegraph

"Our economy is strong due to our forward-looking policies. If indeed there is a recession in the US, we can withstand it. And for this, we need a strong government.
- our former and to-be-again PM from BN (vote BN, because we care)

You know, i'd be a fool to say we can withstand it? I mean it is, after all, the United States of America. I'd be a bigger fool to believe. HAHA. Whooopsie! Alright.

One last thing. If in any situation, anyone was campaigning under this party, I think they'd win by a landslide. However, printing pictures of themselves wouldn't exactly help because if you haven't been working real hard over the past years, no one knows you. If you haven't worked hard enough, no one remembers you. But if you have, heck, everyone knows you. ie In her territory, I think it goes without saying that she'll win and anyone else contending against her is just putting cash to waste. Then again, people would still vote for the party. BUT, printing posters and buntings of the dudu's face, makes us think twice if voting for the party is a wise choice. haha. Enough of this.

what a beautiful cake! *daydreams
Life is like a box of chocolates.
- Forrest Gump
I really really liked him. haha.

My sister recently got a phone which has similar to blackberry functions. I've always wanted one of those, just never got to pursuing it. So here I am, meddling with it and all. I think if I had one of those, i'd end up being a crackberry. Maybe i'm just not used to it, but yeah. Hats off to those of you with crackblackberries! P/s: Nowadays, (I think) my sister uses her previous phone more often than not. :)

A friend just emailed me a song that I thought I already had. Well I did already have it. The older and not so grande version of it. Great. Now I owe him 10 bucks *sulks*. Haha. So here's the deal. Bands with orchestras are definitely better off! *glee* Hmmm. I went out with an old friend for scones today and abit of talking. :)

Lots of smiles,
Michelle

` singing in the rain

"We are on the right track. Let's move forward. Vote for Malaysia.
Vote for Barisan Nasional."
*This is where we all break into stitches, wails and monkey laughs like hyenas. That was part of a ad I heard over the radio. Whether you have the brain capacity or not, I believe we all know that ads on radios are well prepared for. IE written and approved scripts, convincing voices (real or not) to sell a particular product. Do the tax payers realise that their monies, by the millions, have just been flushed down the waste system? Guess not so. But who cares, right? Oh yeah! That's right! Barisan Nasional cares (one of the people on the radio ad said that)! Vote for 'em! *sweetly sickening smile* Okay. So vote for them if you want peace in the country. If you know what I mean. Vote for them if you want not to be caught voting for the opposition. But then again, heck, they say the voting system's anonymous RIGHT? I mean, there's absolutely no way (haha. yeah right) they'll ever know (if they want to find out) if you voted them or not! I'm sure they'll keep to their side of the bargain RIGHT? I mean, it's just their not-so-fulfilled-promises of how democratic we are, RIGHT? After all, we're on the right track, RIGHT? Oh wait. In this country, democracy is individually interpreted. Silly me, how could I forget!! Okay. That's it. Someone shoot me now.

Alright. Coming back to reality *chup chup chup*. Here I am. Hip and hopping. *rolls eyes* I'm a sucker for words and empty promises. That's a fact. Well, take my conversation (through sms-ing) last night for instance. You made me cry, but I just believed in it. Even if it was a promise that it wasn't an empty promise. Well, time will tell, won't it? So what if i'm naive?

But then again, reality isn't all that bad! I have a great support system. Take the time before my grad and before the audition. haha. This girl, is the most random. "Oh, I was bored, I saw your DVD cupboard in a mess, so i kinda tidied it up. Oh and I'm borrowing a few DVDs while i'm at it". haha. Then there was right before the audition, when I was ready to pee in my pants and suddenly this weird ring tone started ringing. Oh yeah. The weird ring tone was well, mine. I pick up and this other friend of mine, "hey woman i'm in the club now for a pedicure. Wanted to ask you if you wanted to come?" Well, I never got to mentioning to her how that random phone call took a load of tensed up thoughts off my chest. So, thanks (if you see this). Haha.

Speaking about pedicures and manicures, that day, I kinda got told off about how I just spent "over a hundred" on about two manis and pedis. That's not it. It was within the span of lets see... three weeks at most? I'd say two weeks if I weren't this guilty, but yeah. I'm guilty as charged. For a moment there, I was actually upset that I was cornered me (or so I thought). Then again, I've been pretty unreasonable about it too. So yeah. No more manis and pedis until... Okay. I'm not going to make a statement knowing I can't hold on to it. So yeah. I'll try to abstain from it as long as I can. That goes without abstaining from nail art! :)

Next on my list, I was talking to a friend (one out of three of them who went fishing over the weekend) yesterday. He was telling me about their trip and how one of them nearly died. The dude was an arms length shy from meeting his maker! Take that. Gee. Three boys on a trip is never good. Three of them, without us girls? hahaha. It's amazing how they survived. Lol. Jk. Hey i'm glad you're fine. Get the butt of yours in shape! Heard it's blue and black! ahah. So here's it. They dumbly went and tried climbing up the waterfall in KKB after they kinda got bored of fishing. That was a no brainer okay? Don't ever do that again! The one with the biggest idiosyncrasy (at that moment) suggested that on the way down, they should slide down where the water came rushing down. "Just hold on to the rocks".

Long story short, one stayed on the rocky path, two went into the watery path. One got wussy-fied (it was a good time to do so!) and got out, turned around to look and the dudu that was still in the water fell two tiers down. So this two on dry rocky land held hands and put this bamboo stick for the dudu in the water who kinda slipped and fell one more tier down. Thank God he's still alive with just a bruised butt and abit more. See? That's why we need the extra cushioning on our butts. Tease us more! *sticks out tongue*

Anyways, after that, the guy they went to meet at KKB came to pick them up and passed a statement. "You boys didn't try to climb the waterfall, did you? Cos last year, three 19 year olds climbed it and two fell to their death" Whoa. God loves you guys la okay. Treasure your lives! Use your brains! :) On a more serious note, thank God.

I usually bite off more than I can chew. Everyone knows that. I had brunch after church yesterday. I went to One Utama with a friend, who brought a friend. Believe me, if you go to delicious, the mushroom soup is huge and filling. No more breakfast there. The 4.90, 6.90 and 8.90 went a long wayyyy! haha =_= Last night, parents and I were craving for some food at about 11. It was pouring, so dad decided to go to 7-11 outside our house to buy a loaf of bread. I was lazy to go up to get my purse. Dad was just as bad. haha. So, we went out, dad drove. When we got to 7-11, we opened the coin box in the car and took out all the coins in there. After all, it was just a loaf of bread, right? haha. Luckily we had enough. =_=

Oh and did I mention that I just recently came to a realisation that the founder of ICCA, was actually part of the British Sugarcraft Guild? I should've known. o.0 haha. Oh darn. She also has a Masters in French Pastries. +_+

On a lower note, this post marks the end of my season four CDs. To those of you hogging the season five CDs, I WANT ITTTTTTT! Karen cannot dieee! I think Dan's going to turn himself in (or not?). Hailey's going to give birth! I could go onnnnn. Chase is so good looking...

Then again, someone was dumb enough to make a bet that i'd jog everyday. That someone? Yours truly... It's okay. I'm going to win this, you're so winning the slave title! When the day comes, i'll welcome brownies with open arms! :) ah man! Two weeks to the beginning of the end! *laughs

signing off for the day! :)

` of sunshine and rain

Letters
I wrote but never sent.
You wrote that pierced me then.
I try to hide and forget.
That will be here until I round up the courage to burn.

Pictures
In frames in my room.
Lying around in the boxes and drawers.
Stuck in my Mac mind.
Our fame and our shame.

The clock strikes midnight

The pictures remain.
The pictures are intact.
Pictures come with memories.

Memories
I can't run from.
That will never be forgotten
I once believed to be my forever
That are now forsaken.

Our memories
Linger in my mind.
I try to shy away from.
Of sunshine and rain, joy and pain.
So vivid and fresh.

Like dew in the morning of spring.
Like it was yesterday.

I look around only to see memories of you.

So today, three of us went for an audition for a musical.
Three others didn't go for the audition cos one was fishing, another studying, another in a family reunion in Australia.

haha. We had to sing, dance and act. I acted like a bulimic girl.
Anyways, all the monologues in the papers made so much sense, no? ... Makes me wonder.

Music Director/Audition-er:
Why do you want to be a part of this?
"Because I've seen your productions before and they are very impressive.
I want to gain the experience and be part of it."

(What kind of an answer was that? gee)

Anyways, after the audition, they called two of us back to the 2nd room.
Asked us if we could juggle night practices, practices that would run later than midnight,
photo shoots, rehearsals, extra time here and there and whatnots.

Two of us knowingly said yes. I'm sure we could have handled it.
IF we got a part in wtv it is we auditioned for. HAHA.
IF.
That was the big word.

Then, came the important part (towards the end of the convo).
"The date of the sneak preview is 22nd April. Any problems?"
"Nopeeeee"
"The 3 day show will be 11th to 13th July. OK??"
"uhm... We'll be in Australia then!" *whoooops*
"NOW ONLY YOU SAY!!!!?"
"heeeeee..."
"Why'd you come for audition then?"

Oh well. It was a stress full morning with tuna sandwiches, dancing, amazing graces, kisses and hope. At least one of the three of us stands a chance in getting a part in this big time musical!
