# 364 The Indefinite Break

 Pictures from here.

Because when it's all laid out, you have to choose and set your priorities.

This takes the back seat boot.

So I guess this is it. Till another time.

It was fun while it lasted.

Walking on Water

There was a point in time where the Click Five's song Jenny brought some sort of meaning, albeit a rather somber one. It was amazing while it lasted though. Then the days of Adele's Make You Feel My Love brought only joy, regardless of how I felt. Now? Now I'd like to play golf. :) So unrelated and random =_= OHHH. I got my letter (finally!) late (all thanks to Pos Malaysia). Stomp out loud and the amazingly cute bee; and the sign-off. Smiley Lately I've been caught up watching Glee Smiley ; shouldn't have started. Oh and have I mentioned House? The woman kept telling me how awesome they (Glee and House) were, but I just never really got to watching them, simply because I never got my hands on House and Glee wasn't compatible with my Mac. :( :( But thanks to Sham (who lent me the external hd, who has according to my breakfast kaki, went off to Singapore ad, and is flying straight off to Sydney? omgsh i'm so sorry I hogged your hd for that long?), I have now began to watch them both. House season one and two was very ... mamatei (meaning okay okay only in Cantonese - i think?). There wasn't very much continuity between the episodes, so you never really have this urge to watch the next episode? It was much more realistic compared to Grey's I guess, because in real life you never get to diagnose people just like that (as in Greys); then again, not every case needs as much complications and twists (as in House).

Okay so I just wanted to type a whole bunch of things so that there'd be this nice box around the bumble bee. Just for fun :) Lifeless. Meh. Smiley Now that smiley looks like it's the sick kinda high.
You know, there is a point in time where you have to sort out your priorities, about what you think is important, and what's not; what's worth sacrificing for, and what's not; what's worth spending hard earned money (or non-existent money or even parents' money or in my case my Chinese New Year money) on, and what's not; so on, so forth. I think that it's the sign of maturity aging. Man I feel old already! I have a feeling that this is going to be a really long drawn post because I've been writing or more aptly, typing this collectively - I can't stay put and just collect my thoughts and pen them down; Smileyso yeah.
I remember the days of ol' when I loved going to MPH or Popular (bestest was Kinokuniya!) or any bookstore for that matter, to buy note books. Now that I think about it, I ask myself "seriously!!!!???". I would actually make my mom buy me lots of note books I never wrote in, solely because I thought they were really pretty. =_= Ocassionally when I thought to myself "Oh okay la I start writing diary lah" (because all the kids in story books did, starting with the phrase "Dear Diary, today..."); well, I did use the books - like three pages, or maximum six? Then I'd think that my writing was really too ugly for such a pretty book, or I'd accidentally smudge the ink of my colour pen, and i'd hate the book forever and ever; after trying to tear out the bounded pages, that is, and disfiguring them beyond repair; you get the drill! *doomed* Oh and my addiction to buy lots of colourful (and expensive) colour pens (before Tesco and all came up with cheap and fugly ones that never lasted more than a week), and because I thought that the colour pens were so beautiful, I didn't really end up using much of it? Plus, there is this thing about ink pens - once you drop them, well, you can't really use them anymore! Smiley Yeahm My life story. Colour pens and note books turn diary turn hate book. haha.
On a completely unrelated note, there's something about this place I live at where everyone pops lotsa fireworks for every and no apparent reason (for me; maybe it's someone's birthday and they just deserve all that fireworks in the sky?). There is something particularly about my room I have (nearly, after the parents' balcony) the best view. Smiley And no, I am not complaining, because that occasional entertainment just makes the day (or rather night) a whole lot brighter and colourful (literally!).
However, during this festive season, people around this area can't seem to pace the fireworks. There's a subtle sense of competition Smiley. If it's the eve of a big celebration, everyone fires the works around the same time (okay, very nice *pat on your back). The day or two after onwards (like tonight, cos I'm home and have absolutely nothing to do - although I really should be studying) the moment I wonder why there aren't fireworks (wah I sound damn demanding right, wondering why people don't have fireworks),
someone starts with a not-so-big *boom!*, which gets another family worried who lets out even more boring Smiley *booms!*; then some big tycoon just wants to show off and the there's this *bbbbooooommmmm!*; then some other people will be like better go now or some other nicer one will come up and ours will look quite sad, then boring *booom!* (haha I super bad right judging all the booms - fireworks I mean); then the whole thing goes on and on AH NOW THE LIKE TENTH (ah now twelfth) SET OF FIREWORKS JUST WENT OFF.
This is abit too much. I CANT GET PEACE Smiley. WHAT LA. Why nothing else to do meh. Haven't you heard that too much of one thing actually spoils the fun (haha now fourteenth set - not so nice Smiley).
You know how I judge the boom-ness of the fireworks? Sorta based on a few criterias.
  1. How high it goes;
  2. how wide the flames (?) disperse;
  3. how pretty they look (even with my no-spectacles-blurred vision); and most importantly,
  4. how many explosions per second. Those fireworks that send one explosion every > 4seconds shouldn't waste time la. You explode once, next door explode like > 12 times. Very shy okay, unless it's your birthday and no one else is putting up fireworks. Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
Haha. This gives the phrase "keeping up with the Joneses" a completely different illustration. Smiley K now it's the sixteenth boom and I nearly had to revise my criteria. House #16 only had an explosion every 3 seconds (hence, no need to revise my criteria) and super big, and pretty *melts*. Very bhhhooooommmm.

So the three different (and completely unrelated stories) was subject of three different times I was blogging. =_= Yeahhhhhhh. I see a long blogging break ahead. 0.o Well none of you would have read the whole thing anyway?

For the source of the pictures, please click the photos okay, cos I hyperlinked them :)

Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams

Here's to all of you who complain about my previous post i.e. "Blog skin change disaster", which was followed with a "brb =_=.". Hi now you get to see something else, yay!

Since i'm extremely behind all (or any, if at all?) my posts, I really can't be bothered about updating?

Classes started about a month ago (ooh it's been THAT long?). For everyday I go to classes, I either end at six (or slightly earlier, depending on the lecturer's liking?) or I wait a short while for Rachel and we go back at five (which is still pretty damn late?). Thank goodness, I have only four days of classes a week (not including the absurd Saturday replacements?). I just realised how much I adore parentheses and question marks?

Oh CNY is coming - can anyone tell me why that's such a celebration?

So much to say but I don't know where to start. That's a good start, isn't it? Sigh.

OH and my immune system is zilch - met a friend who was sick and two hours later? Exact same thing - fever and sore throat (here's where I yell MLS). Soon, i'll get you guys to pick up mls too - car circle thingamajig. Now my muscles and head feel funny, and I can't swallow properly (and it doesn't help that I still eat my chilli padis, curries etc etc).

I should plan a trip to visit (which one!); can we start classes in March please thank you, yay.

And, I need a job. *bitter.

Oh and we're going for a holiday; also i'm going for a holiday(-ish), be back three days before my finals. Talk about letting my hair downnnn o0o0o0o0h. kthxbai
I could offer you a warm embrace,
to make you feel my love.
I could hold you for a million years,
to make you feel my love.

Blog skin change disaster

brb. =_=

/edit

Finally got it fixed (more or less)

Hi Nanda, does this theme look like me? =_=

New year, new resolution, new blog skin. :p

I am beginning to like you html codes :) I got to change so much stuff and check the links on the top navigation bar - can't think of any other links to add there. eek! Oh and I added the pretty block quote from some other theme. :D

But I digress.

Won't be changing my blog skin in another ten two years. So much work! I won't tell you how many themes I tried so you won't say i'm lifeless, but you prolly already guessed. What? You said perfectionist? Yeah. I won't stop until I get exactly what I want; for this blog, well that's a story i'll leave for another day. Omg la. So happy. I changed the fonts and all to keep myself happy! 0.o Don't tell me you preferred the monster inc. header (just lie and say you prefer this okay, cos it was alot more work!). Fine, fine. Tell me what you think. :(

Okeh. I will blog properly soon. Hopefully new blog skin revives my blogging motivation.

Sucha big girl's blouse.
I miss you already.

` bay I love the music I stole from your USB

See the wonders of Picasa 3 <- click the link to download it if you want. It makes me wanna blog more pictures, so no more talking until I get bored or run out of pictures (not gonna happen), although i'm pretty sure this entire blogging spur will come to an end soon.

Last night, I was cleaning some mess in my room, and I came across the guidelines for next semesters important dates etc. I read through the guidelines, it said Jan 11, so naturally I started freaking out. Why? Because initially I had this perception (or more like assumption) that class was starting after Jan 20th. Seriously, nine days less is a lot less. In nine days I can sleep 12hrs x 9days = 108 hrs. I get that much sleep, which is very rare! Now no more. WHAT?

*breaks away and checks Sept-Dec 09 timetable before I begin cursing the Uni admin*

*smacks forehead, bang head against wall*

It said Jan 11. I saw 20 and assumed it was Jan 20 - I thought my holidays were until Jan 20 (not much but bearable). It just said Dec 20 - Jan 11. Great. Now imma just dig a hole and swallow this misery; then again, i'm excited about school. Oh well. :) I'm pretty messed up. Luckily I checked first. =_='

From many weeks ago,

The kid I was left with on Christmas Eve.
Of joy rides, big-ass cars, "Elmo", and Bread Story. What a day.

Also, there's been a lot of ROE to keep me company.

` self-righteous hypocrites

Twas a very sick sense of relief I felt.

While we were on the topic, why not, right?

Merry Christmas people, I had a good one.

Right now, I love the world. Lets see how long this lasts.

My new favourite word? "SERIOUSLY!?"
