Five years, is it? Everyone's leaving, and so is Adele. =_= I think the most "emotional" part of the night - besides you leaving - would have been when the recording of the "fondest memory of Adele" was taking place.
Adele and I - we go back to days of tuition and the sorts. The asam laksa that her mom buys for us (with an abundance of fish! I was always sure she paid the hawker fella extra for all the fish we used to get) is the only asam laksa I eat. That literally means I haven't had asam laksa ever since I stopped tuition. Okay, maybe once at the Kam's grandparents house during Chinese New Year this year, which was also good (proof: L had three servings plus 1 more - no prizes for guessing whose). But that doesn't make me any more interested in eating asam laksa. The Mr. R moments. The epic first time seeing Mr. R outside the house gate and thinking he was some gang leader, and refusing to open the gate until she said a prayer for protection - literally. =_= Okay la. I know i'm blogging strictly about history now, but it's good to look back once in a while.
Good or bad. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
The one who read the U Sukses Biology book thrice the night before the exam and still thought it wasn't enough. =_=
Funny how the entire bunch of us only really meet up when someone's leaving or someone's celebrating some sort of birthday. We all lead very busy and separate lives. Nonetheless, it's always nice seeing all these people and asking the stupidest questions (sometimes repetitive questions over a series of events because we don't remember asking the same question the previous time/s) *shy. I should actually look for our pictures from the yesteryears. We would all have a good laugh. Look how far we've come. How much we've grown.
Remember the black, blacker & blackest? The powerpuff boys? Blacks the mad scientist (was that the name?) with the very familiar "push the button" and his very puffy curry puff-ish hair and nerd glasses; Tan's used-to-be-six-pack abs-now-flabs; the Cow's snoring habits and the sock in his mouth + the entire sound system blaring his snore; the serani and his long hair, chubby cute-baby-brother face; Siao's VI non-humour, which wears everyone (but him) out, and hairy-belly (I didn't just say that - I forgot what we named it. Pires?); the classic Kam moments that no one actually gets, yet he is precious beyond explanation; Munkee's annoyingly rotten (understatement) voice and too-loud-for-his-own-good comments, turned sampan + "LINE!" moments at the farm; Shameless' Christ-like smile; and how could anyone forget the fatty's it's-complicated situation with the roaches - "Die! Die!" *rolls bottle over cockroach and being the perfect "wife", but wife he is no more.
Those were the days. The days when we were younger, fatter/thinner, more naive, innocent (actually I'd think was non-existent within anyone of us, other than Adele), full of spontaneity (we still are!), single-r (hahaha), and well, alot more. We've all come a long way. Look at us. Despite our differences and explosive arguments, we seem to still be friends - must be some sort of curse, really *peace. Thank God (or not! Always kena bully!). But seriously, thank God for friends like this bunch. Wouldn't trade them for nuts (maybe for coffee, Haagen Dazs, chilli padi, and good chicken curry in the right colour).
I really don't think anyone got this far.
Haha.
If you got this far, you're either really bored, or you're one of us, and know what i'm talking about. The good old days. You old farts, ;)
You know you're old when even Munkee admits that he can't eat as much, and he feels that age is catching up with him - now that is a sign. Watch out! Age is catching up!
Oh Laura, I found the voice recording we made when we went to Penang and were locked out of the room. Yeah. It's still as embarrassing and funny as ever.
Post dedicated to the one who bought me Starbucks and complained that I blog once a week at most and have very extreme case of photo-only or words-only posts. Eh you very bising, considering the fact that you don't have to maintain a blog or even blog to begin with. Fb is not counted cos I don't fb. Thank you. Nah. One whole post of the mix. I blog about you next time, ok? :)

What I do, I do for you.
But I can't tell you - it's supposed to be a surprise.
