` you me

you confuse me .
you don't care .
you don't have the strength .
neither have I .
life has to go on, with or without you.
we'll survive this, ride the storm.
Together or not, let fate decide .

` beauty in breakdown
I doubt anyone would actually read this blog because this isn't my ... "official" blog that I suppose i'm supposed to update. Even my best friends don't know about this. haha.
Expect nothing. Live frugally on surprise.
It's hard not to expect anything at all when we embark on a journey or anything, for that matter, in life. It sucks that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.
Surprise on the other hand, is a different situation. It really depends what it is we call "surprise".
When you're invited to a party that was organised for you and you see people you care forand not there. That's one. Sometimes, we pretend to be surprised even though we're pretty aware that everyone's being weird around us and we're just waiting for that one moment where they spring up on us. That's another.
Then there's the "surprise" when someone/people go the extra mile for you when you least expect it. (thanks mom and dad for the water bag! I love you both)
There's the present-opening-time and you open all sorts of funky stuff that you like/dislike, want or not, need or not.
Long story short, I love surprises. They plaster the smile on my face and give me the strength to go on.
On a random note,
1: Ah! I was so mad at him! I thought he was perfect! Until I saw him in the car..
2: Haha. It's okay. I get irritated by terrible drivers too!
1: You don't get it! I'd rather someone horned at me than stare at me with fiery eyes.
2: Yeah that's true. *shivers
1: It was a frigging boulder but i tried to make it a pebble!
2: No one's perfect. Its. 60% good & 40% bad or 95% good 5% bad. I think you've got the latter so suck it up!
1: Yeah. Anyway, the waterworks helped. =)
2: It always does. It's not that we cry on purpose. It just comes but we make it a bit more dramatic.
*laughs.
In my life, there are four kinds of people.
runaways
They SMS/IM: about how they feel about this or that, what they should do or whatnot.
i.e. Tries to sort out a misunderstanding.
In Reality/face2face: They don't do anything about it, act like nothing's going on or nothing's wrong.
i-have-yet-to-name-this-species
They SMS/IM: very little about what they feel, barely try to address the problems, its always too long to type.
In Reality/face2face: Bloody hell, they sit you down and force it (the problem) out of you, literally. Sometimes they come on too hard.
the in-betweens
I suppose its pretty normal to be sitting on the fence and weighing the pros and cons.
the suckers
Who just avoids any sort of confrontation on sorting out.
Just last week, I made a bet with this friend of mine. This bet was if a certain someone turned up at the party, i'd have to pay her 10 ringgit. But knowing that certain someone well enough to know that he/she'd chicken out, obviously I won the 10 ringgit. It wasn't about the money. It was the fact that the certain someone proved me right. Thanks.
Another random moment,
1: What you eating?
2: I don't know..
3: Go ask for kuey teow sup kering.
1 & 2: *WTH?
2: Hi aunty, saya mau makan kuey teow sup kering.
4: Lu mau kuey teow hitam keling?
- the end -
That wasn't in any way to disrespect my fellow countrymen. It was just that the lady couldn't pronounce the "r" and it sounded like "l". It was her genuine mistake and i'm sure she didn't know what it meant. =_='
Sometimes when things go wrong, you try to fix them.
When there is a long wait in between, the phase when I still wanted things right again has come to pass. Thus, resulting to the phrase carpe diem.
Someone I once knew told me "Friends come and go. They are passing ships". Because of you, I said "No". I set my foot down. Then I realised my mistake. My mistake of trusting and believing that you'd still be by my side, regardless. Guess I believed wrong. Then again, I believe wrong alot.
Now you waltz back into my life and try to make things right? After all the months of sleepless nights? If only life were that simple.
If only I could turn back time, you said.
If only I knew it back then.
If only I set my priorities right.
If only I didn't mess it all up.
The list of If only's can go on forever. Carpe diem. Seize the day. Seize the moment.
I'm trying to live life this way. I want to love life. How can we love if we don't love ourselves?
When we look in the mirror, who or what do we see?
I want to look back in life, five years from today and know that I don't regret anything I did. That I learnt something from everything i've done and been through.
You once told me that life never gets so bad it can't get worse.
Do you remember? I do...
I think life is as much as we make of it. Half empty, or half full.
For you,
God, please grant me the courage and perseverance to unravel the mysteries and wonders of life. Help me realise my purpose here. Forgive me for all else.

Happy Birthday Mikey!

toodles my loves!
rushing and racing and running in circles
moving so fast I'm forgetting my purpose
blur of the traffic is sending me spinning
getting nowhere
my head and my heart are colliding chaotic
pace of the world I just wish I could stop it
Try to appear like I've got it together
I'm falling apart
save me, somebody take my hand and lead me
slow me down, don't let love pass me by
just show me how, cause I'm ready to fall
slow me down, don't let melive a lie
before my life flies by, I need you to slow me down
sometimes I fear that I might disappear
in the blur of fast forward I falter again, forgetting to breathe
I need to sleep, I'm getting nowhere
all that I've missed I see in the reflection
pass me while I wasn't paying attention
tired of rushing, racing and running, I'm falling apart
the noise of the world is getting me caught up
chasing the clock and i wish i could stop it
just need to breathe, somebody please , slow me down

` yellow ribbon & marriage!
We live in a country where "democracy" is individually interpreted. Enough said.
2nd Sunday in February
February 10, 2008
World Marriage Day.
they gave away free cupcakes in blue and pink to all the married couples. They looked slightly adorable, but ew, it didn't taste one bit good. *shrugs*
After that, we went back to Marc's place to prepare for Mikey's surprise birthday partayyyy!
It was this poolside blast thing. Ellie, Andrea, Laura and I were well, busy talking about.. waterfalls and water-dont-falls. *rolls eyes* Later, the four of us had to go off to Tmn Tun to get 8 pizzas for everyone. God bless, never put four girls in one car, with money. Better still, never let Ellie drive. Lol. *u-turn, u-turn, u-turn*
The next day, I was supposed to go for Siao's Surprise Birthday Party at the C. Club, Pavilion. This C. Club is a branch from the CARAT CLUB. Yeah. I know. But, I couldn't go that nite cos I was all hip n happening pimpin my friggin room. I'll get to that later. STEPHEN CHOW WAS THEREEEE! I should've went! :( So I msg the dude that night to apologise for not coming, and I wished him too. Turns out, all he could say to me was "Wah! what sorry! even the ** *** chai came! You ar..." heeee. You know deep down in my heart SOMEWHERE, i think there's a LIL bit of me lovin you and your sarcasm. =)
MNG should be like.. Shut down.
1. They sell so many of that "mnG & you", "mng loves u", "mng jeans" and whatnot, it has no value and... yuck.
2. The frigging A-holes display nicey wicey tops in the front of the shop, when you go in and look for it, its not there. When you ask the workers there? "oh sorry. That one only for display. We don't sell wan" *in a china apoh tone* *rolls eyes.* geez.
Wah. The night before CNY, literally everyone around my housing area seemed to be popping fireworks from 11pm-2am!!!
Its either
1. Fireworks are free
2. Everyone's suddenly dripping in cash
But oh well, i'm not complaining. Fireworks are prolly the only pollution I condone to.
CNY eve and Bollywood "Valentine" movies? haha.
Anyways, Happy Chinese New Year

` going green!
Last week, daddy went to Sabah to visit my uncle. Since he wasn't here, I got to drive the Land Rover and be the ultimate terror on the road. In case I nearly bumped into any of YOU? wakakaka. My apologies.. =...=
Yesterday we had practice for a drama and I kinda banged into Patrick and now my hand cacat already. I think i sorta twisted my bardy left elbow or sth. I feel like a retard! I mean.. Drive car also like super tough. Cannot steer the steering wheel with TWO hands.not like i've ever used two hands anyways. yeah. Well, not like any of the guys would second the fact that i was never cacat to start with. *rolls eyes* Oh we had yummy nasi lemak this morning, at SS5.
Marck, Mikey, Rachel n I had nasi lemak. The champion a.k.a Joshua, ordered "roti planta" but got toasted bread with planta. Irritated and hungry, he insisted for his ROTI CANAI WITH PLANTA. When we finished eating, his "roti" FINALLY CAME. It was roti canai biasa. *waddaheck?>?!@?#R$TG i know. LOL
Anyways, in my last post, forgot to update that last minute, i made it for Kevin's surprise party at Bukit Kiara. Fine. Not in time to yell "surprise!" or to sing "happy birthday to youuuu!!" but in time to show my face and personally greet him. wahaha. so yeah. Happy belated birthday to this kid who's about to tour the world and leave us here in dumpy-land for a few months. Thanks man! Leave your Fender behind toooooo? *sweet pleasing face. LOL.
Oh and I can finally tie my hair!!!! wheeeeee.
Hmmm.. My room's underslight renovation. So, I moved into my mama n papa's room to stay. Omgosh you have no idea how challenging it is to sleep there (on a single mattress, i mean). I'm no spoilt. I just need space. I'm not tiny and thats a fact. Wait la. when I upload my pics next, you will see the difference between my OWN bed and the temporary mattress i have to bear with. Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining! I absolutely love sleeping with my parents. The fact that I can't sleep in my room's good cos i get an excuse to move in with them and then they can't chase me out of theirs! weehheeeee.. i'm not a baby
Did I mention i was going green? Literally. My room's gna be green. Woohoooooo!
*kiss kiss*
I'm so happy and green-fied.

` boys like girls
Greetings!
I am backkk! =) been oh-so-busy, or so i think i've been. I'm now waiting for pakcik to pick me up to go to Atria, DJ to finish up some crafty stuff i started with Jo n Liv. Ok. I'll get to that crafty part later. *rolls eyes*
Lets see. Things i've done in the last two weeks.
1.
JYM Grads Prom where we did that ballet thing again, only to have me think and know for sure hat our dance issomewhat cursed. Then apparently, i sang for a band performance which got me shitting in my pants, or dress or WTV, literally. But believe me, it was an experience. HAHA. And for the record, it nott kathlyna-ballerina anymore. The girl can drum! Lol. *sallutes. After this somewhat last minute, hectic, blood-boiling, temperature rising event, there was one event that was the cooling off point. The slideshow presentation of all our pics. OMFGDNS. So many of the pics i SWEAR never knew existed were there. OMFGDNS. haha. damn funny loh. Oh and about the awards and all? haha. It worked out somehow or rather with those cute lil cards that Jo-ann and gang maid. I got best female vocalist.. ?!?! yeah i know. =_=' nevertheless, it was a fun nite. FRIEND FRIEND YAH? you all know what i mean.
Laura, my friend, of all the times we cartwheel together, WHY on that night did we bump RIGHT into each other after the damn cheer? geeeez! Lol. Thats why the "i'm a ballerina" thing was valid during practice when they made us go cart wheel and apparently jump the stoops herkie (however u spell it). Guess what would've happened if we cartwheeled off the stage? hmmm. the things we do.
*on a random note, in one of the recent movies anne and i watched, Bring it On - In it to win, the "father of cheer" was Herkie Herkemore (now's the time for everyone to give me the "WTF" face) yeahhhh. LMAO!
2.
Went to Sheraton Imperial to help Jess cheche to do icebreakers for Petra Perdana's annual dinner. Aaron, Marc, Josh and I had to wear wigs cos the theme was Flower Power Retro. Most of the people there dressed to retro. How flower power can u get? A top or bottom with spewing flowers. Thats all. Lol. The wigs n fros were the fun part, coming to think of it, besides the fact that we actually got Tengku Dato’ Ibrahim Petra, Executive Chairman and CEO of Petra Perdana Berhad, his wife n most of the VIP's to danceeee! wheeeeheeeee. God is real okay. Just before the event, nearly sangkut. shoots. haha. God is great. oh and THANK GOD FOR WIGS!
3.
I fell in and out of the sick world. Literally. I was down with flu n a terrible sore throat/cough. It was all so gross. Realllllly. You have NO idea. Insane and mind boggling. I think being sick is the biggest challenge in life. grrrraafffawwww. oh and i said sick world cos everyone was sick at that time. Lol.
4.
Apparently, we had our reunion party too which was some sort of BBQ in the RAIN. i know. So, as always, nothing stops us or whatsoever. Just change of location. Quoting Marc, "aiya. You know what. Its US! Nothing can stop us. Just adapt abit looohhhh!" You know, I can't imagine a few more years and more kids i tell you. There're just so many of us now! In a good way ok! i'm so not complaining. ;)
5.
Baby Jerome turned one. Oooooh my babyyyyyyy... Well it was a fun nite. Saw Jo n Livvy. Oh yeah. This I won't forget. There were kids running all over. Yes. Trampling on my toessss.. yeah....... arghs.
6.
Since i met Jo n Liv there, we planned our sleepover which got postponed and postponed. Finally had it and OMGSH the things we did. =_= we went to Atria to go get some yarn to knit. Yes, knit. Not in our freaking minds, we thought that it'd be THATeffing expensive! So long story short, bill was 380ringgit and we only had 280 ringgit. So we had to PROMISE to come back and not con them. YEAH. So we OWED them 100ringgit. How good's that for our ego? LOL. I had to call mommy and meet her at OU to get the balance 100. heeeee. So funny and embarassing. eeeesh. We had to tell the poor ol man that we weren't gonna cheat him.. Lol. Went home then went to Victoria Station to MAKAN! Both captains that were dad and godpa's friends not working there d. =s hmmm. yeah. But gosh. 2 dozen garden snails escargots for starters, 3 rib eyes, 2 T-bone steaks, and salad. WAHHHHH. You have no idea how full and stuffed we were. Plus all that complimentary salad?! geeeeez. were so addicted to knitting, we went on and on, knitting in bed till 3am or a lil later. Frankly, we wouldn't have stopped if Livvy didn't put her foot down and demanded her sleep. Yeah. Next day, woke up at frigging 8am. Mommy made us yummy waffles with sausages and cinnamon bananas for breakie! Later on, we iced cupcakes. Jo n Liv brought most of it home for Godpa n Godma to devour. After they went home at abt 2.30pm, i KO-d and slept. So tiredddd..
7.
NEWSFLASHHHHH!
Anne and I have made good friends with DVD peddlers who assume that we own our own DVD peddling stall at some roadside too. yeahp. wahahahhahhahahah.
8.
Went back again to Atria to do our "crafty stuff" as i stated in the beginning of this post to get more yarn for our scarf. Lol. Jo n Liv had to call Pakcik to go get more $$ cos well, what else can the reason be? Lol.
9.
Watched the Beyonce live in LA with Anne with like first class seats, first class home theater system and well, free flow or any drink u want?!? Lol. WAHHHHHH. You have no idea how empowering it is. An all girl band, crazy transissions/distractions and absolute ONNNNZ showmanship. Can't believe she didn't come down. Sigh. Beyonce's totally the kinda person i'd call successful. In her own very way. The way she can connect with the crowd, and so on.
10.
Been painting outside my house, found out that yes indeed that dogs -womans best friend! I move abit, they inch a lil closer and sleep, I move a lil, they inch closer. Thats all they do! They didn't distrupt my work or whatnot! They're smart. I think i might consider bathing them. Then again? NVM.. don't need la. Lol. I even talked to my dogs. =_="
11.
Aunty Irene's down from Canada. Went to Apartment, Curve, that day. Omgosh. Drama wama! She's so sarcastic, but in a funny way. She gets you laughing like a hyena! When she starts, you don't know what hit you. Lol. Lesson? #1. Don't order the Macchiato in Apartment. #2. Don't tell mommy about Evo owners. Lmao. #3. Pls confuse the waiter by asking for peanutbutter and kaya crepe without the peanutbutter. Thanks. Lol. hmmm. She gave me a picture of Alex. OMGOSH. So cuteeeee. *sighs.
12.
Michelle decided to start doing her sit-ups again. *torturous. You have no idea. When i was 15, I could do 300 in a row. NOW WHEN I DO 30, I'm dying and aching. warrrrghhhhh. It's been two daysssss. warrrggghhh..
No pics this round. Haven't gotten mr MAC back yet from repair. o.0 Have i mentioned that it's absolutely torturing to have to upload pics via Windows in blogspot? You literally have to drag the pics to where you want them. As i upload more pics, miraculous spaces just appear in between everything else i've posted. It's excruciating to have to upload, drag and delete nonsensical spaces. Whereas in the Mac, I can actually just cut and paste my pics and NO MIRACULOUS SPACES just appear in between. Wait. Is it only my computer problem or is it really a problem?? =s
** i close my eyes and hope that i'd somehow disappear from the face of the earth only to open my eyes to see more of you!!!! i pretend that i've moved on and i don't care. but do i? wahhh. sigh. suddenly this yr's had its bad kickstarts. So many people are awfully sick, dying or dead. Geez. Sigh. God bless us all. I hope they all get better soon.
Congratulations! You have finally reached the end of my nonsensical post of the season.
Ah so many birthdays coming in Feb!!! I think we have to run away soon. =.="

In a good way ok! i'm so not complaining. ;)

Baby Jerome turned one. Oooooh my babyyyyyyy... Well it was a fun nite. Saw Jo n Livvy. Oh yeah. This I won't forget. There were kids running all over. Yes. Trampling on my toessss.. yeah....... arghs.

Since i met Jo n Liv there, we planned our sleepover which got postponed and postponed. Finally had it and OMGSH the things we did. =_= we went to Atria to go get some yarn to knit. Yes, knit. Not in our freaking minds, we thought that it'd be THAT

*sighs.
