Man Overboard

So yesterday, while facetime-ing with the parents, I was gatal-ing and wanted to show my mom this handbag I wanted. So while my dad looked away, I signalled silently at my mom to come over then I showed her the picture of the bag I wanted (from the picture I took with my phone) on my phone. Then my dad suddenly says without showing his face, "wah exam time got time to look for handbag ah you?". And I realised, there is no way of hiding from the father. :D  Mother's favourite phrase now "Don't you have enough handbags now?!". Oh hai. I really want need the handbag please :( :( k la. Betul2 melampau dah la ni. *sits in a corner to punish self.

Okay. I'm officially broke. Serious no kidding. T,T Thank God I don't have to pay bills. Just shop (groceries, I meant; what were you thinking!!). Thank God also that I have less time for that now. Hmmm. Also thank God I have quite a lot of frozen food sitting in the freezer cos mommy came over Easter and cooked LOTS of food to freeze for my exam period, which would be now (Love ya mommyy). No idea why i'm blogging. T,T

Love random skype-nights (night for me and dawn/morning for the rest of y'all with irregular sleeping timess) and skype calls with all the random people from home, and facetime with the family, of course. Facetime is so so clear! T,T Clearer than skype, that is. Also, sadly, this concert I wanted to go to got postponed to the following summer. Boo that. I will go for it next summer anyway. :) Can't wait to get exams over with, and start with my summer internship. <3 Something to look forward to. *deep breath.

I hope everyone's fine in all parts of the world. And hearing from my parents (sad to know some of my friends are closer to my parents fml), I hear y'all are doing quite well. Y U ALL NO SMART PHONE.

Can fit into jeans. AND, I cooked lunch; something I haven't done in ages cos I'm abso anal-ly lazy like that. Ironic isn't it, how one moment i'm celebrating my ability to fit into a pair of jeans (TOTAL STEAL <3 ) and the next i'm cooking and munching and eating. T.T Controlled portions, controlled portions.

Lately, been addicted to iTunes U! People, start getting hooked on it. Also, the random downloading of ... dodgy books, and promoting it. My "new-found love" for a whole new genre of books.

Loving the new colours Starbucks has added. So pretty, it makes our weekly Tuesday morning coffee rituals so much brighter. :) Also, Rocky Road pops!

Anyhow, days are terribly warm nowadays? Nights especially! 6-7 degrees. T.T Never imagined that there would come a day where I could say that. MOMMY is u proudz? Favourite place tomorrow! 0_0


I hope my packages come before I leave tho. And also those coming from far far away, from home. Also, I have decided that BrandAlley's service is mildly ... annoying. Not planning to buy from them again, anytime soon. I reckon that they're the worst online thingamajig so far (entirely personal opinion). Even packages from HongKong and the US have been shipped (purchases were made 2 weeks after the one in BrandAlley). Absolutely vexing (AH just realised that I haven't said "vexing" in a long time. Random thought!). Just hope the stuff gets here before April. *cross. Also noticed that I'm back to my old habit of random typing and the use of many (albeit unecessary!!) parentheses. Horrible habit. Did that in my proposal (nope, not just for in-text citations). T.T *shy. 


Exciting weekend coming up! Have no idea where I'm actually going; just know where I'm supposed to meet the group, and at what time. Talk about ignorance! Ahhhh. Anyhow, exciting weekend coming up (yes, I realise I'm repeating myself). Just can't wait for a proper getaway from work, and the fears, worries, the internet (including internet shopping), and most of all, thoughts of shopping. I'm supposed to pack light. T.T how does one do that!


On a lighter note, I'm done with my proposal.

So this was me the last few days (ok actually last few days being the most recent three days =_=; i've been totally camera-unfriendly) in pictures. Finals FINALLY came to an end (yeah that was so lasterday's news, I know). Mom said when I got no exam I don't go online; in the midst of exams, always online. My excuse? Coping mechanism (really excuse lor *thick skin). One of those nights, the boy and I had a good talk and I kept trying to explain psych terminologies and how it was related to our lives and such. Then for a moment there, I hated the fact I chose this major because it gives me quite alot to think about (ONLY during exam periods) and ponder upon. Now that my hormones have re-balanced themselves and exam stress has flown out the window, I still love my major and IE owns me arse till August 7, with plenty of 'em rehearsals!

I am suddenly reminded of the time them boys asked me if I would prefer the combination of brill brains (like crazy smart brains *ahem* we all know whose brains) + no social life, or a combination mediocre brains + (current) social life

I think the answer lies within my favouritest quote ever. I won't say, but if you were observant enough, you'd know for sure.


Anyway, all that aside, I hope I can get decent results. =_= *shy


So much to think about. Choices choices; decisions decisions.

Last night, I was cleaning some mess in my room, and I came across the guidelines for next semesters important dates etc. I read through the guidelines, it said Jan 11, so naturally I started freaking out. Why? Because initially I had this perception (or more like assumption) that class was starting after Jan 20th. Seriously, nine days less is a lot less. In nine days I can sleep 12hrs x 9days = 108 hrs. I get that much sleep, which is very rare! Now no more. WHAT?

*breaks away and checks Sept-Dec 09 timetable before I begin cursing the Uni admin*

*smacks forehead, bang head against wall*

It said Jan 11. I saw 20 and assumed it was Jan 20 - I thought my holidays were until Jan 20 (not much but bearable). It just said Dec 20 - Jan 11. Great. Now imma just dig a hole and swallow this misery; then again, i'm excited about school. Oh well. :) I'm pretty messed up. Luckily I checked first. =_='

From many weeks ago,

The kid I was left with on Christmas Eve.
