Lately, been addicted to iTunes U! People, start getting hooked on it. Also, the random downloading of ... dodgy books, and promoting it. My "new-found love" for a whole new genre of books.

I hope my packages come before I leave tho. And also those coming from far far away, from home. Also, I have decided that BrandAlley's service is mildly ... annoying. Not planning to buy from them again, anytime soon. I reckon that they're the worst online thingamajig so far (entirely personal opinion). Even packages from HongKong and the US have been shipped (purchases were made 2 weeks after the one in BrandAlley). Absolutely vexing (AH just realised that I haven't said "vexing" in a long time. Random thought!). Just hope the stuff gets here before April. *cross. Also noticed that I'm back to my old habit of random typing and the use of many (albeit unecessary!!) parentheses. Horrible habit. Did that in my proposal (nope, not just for in-text citations). T.T *shy. 


Exciting weekend coming up! Have no idea where I'm actually going; just know where I'm supposed to meet the group, and at what time. Talk about ignorance! Ahhhh. Anyhow, exciting weekend coming up (yes, I realise I'm repeating myself). Just can't wait for a proper getaway from work, and the fears, worries, the internet (including internet shopping), and most of all, thoughts of shopping. I'm supposed to pack light. T.T how does one do that!

Well, i'm pretty sure not many of you would've noticed what was wrong with the contents of my bag. =_= There - I've taken the liberty to draw your attention to what was wrong. Le sigh.

From my binging night out with 'em two freaks :D I could've sworn I lost a few peanuts but I couldn't find them so I assumed they fell on the ground. Well, least I found them the next day! :D I actually showed this picture to a few people and no one except L noticed. -.-

Let me tell you a story about that colour (and my love-hate relationship with it).


I had mid-teen crisis when I bought this bag a couple of years ago. =_= I can't remember what was in my head when I made this impulse purchase. All my best purchases in life have been the ones I spent long and hard nights contemplating, multiple re-visits to stores and re-trying and such (okay I agree that they may have been a tad bit more expensive to have required that much and necessary, mind you, thought processes).

Then my Godfather bought me a pink iPod for my birthday (actually two - it's a long story). So anyway I bought a series of covers and settled for the pink one finally, cos it simply matched the iPod. I mean, think about it. Pink center button on iPod, with bright yellow cover. =_= Yeah. Ok.
Then I got my lap top, and was hunting all round town for a cover I liked. Couldn't find one, but I found a keyboard protector (choice of colours: transparent (boring), yellow (dirty fast) and pink); ended up buying the pink one. Then came the day I found the cover for my lap top in the material I preferred (yay! Although poor mommy, Arthur & Rach had to deal with my longwinded-ness of trying and such). =_= So I picked pink again, cos my freaking keyboard protector was pink already, ftw how to pick different coloured cover? *upset*

Then there was my bb cover, which was originally blue, and pretty at that. Then there was a small tear. So i bought a new one. And from that shop, only the pink one looked pretty =.= Yeah. My life with the colour pink is very.... =_='


Anyway, my point was that my new camera (not so new anymore) was supposed to come in the colour pink. Why? Cos the black one was so normal, the gold one was horrible (entirely personal opinion), and pink (or purple; whatever rocks your boat) kinda stood out. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I got it in black instead.

Yes, it may be a tad bit boring (colour-wise), but I kid you not, it's a really awesome compact camera! Definitely better than my last Olympus one. Of course, those of you who know me and my previous DSLR fetish, the capability of this camera is nothing compared to the 40D, but heck, this one can change shutter speed, aperture, flash output level, etc etc, and takes video in full HD?

Yes I gave up on carrying the DSLR around. Anw the woman has one now, so I no need to bring and she has a good camera thingamajig going on :D So anw, I would totally recommend this camera if you're not looking for DSLRs. :) :) the joy it brings me. *claps hands* Yeah, I went to many shops to try this camera out, and to find the cheapest deal. Turns out, YS is always the best, no matter what I think or say :)

The pink story was totally random and oh yeah. L was happy that I finally got something black (instead of pink). Evil friend.

Which tier?

So many things I wanted to blog about; so many, I forgot em all. =_=

Yah. If only someone invented this device to read my mind and blog what goes through my head while i'm driving, I would've written at least a thousand blog posts in the last couple of weeks.

Classes four days a week (if I get into the elective class, that is); otherwise THREE DAYS ONE WEEK. HELLO HELLO HOLIDAY-MOLIDAY. Finally some structure amongst the uncertainty. *phew. Oh and guess who's my new course Mate (ok not classmate but yeah, doing same course la; how unexpected); alternatively, guess who's my (maybe maybe) new found Uni Mate (quotes his dad "you tell me what time you wanna exercise! I will make sure he wakes up to exercise!") haha.

True, the uncertainty was (and still is) a major blessing, and experience, but the last few weeks have been a major roller coaster of emotions. From expecting nothing, to being given hope; to being given unexpected opportunities; to actually getting it; to volunteering to organize the second TC (haha yeah I know right. =_=); to finding out (this morning) how R-shaw may just be the bestest place (THANK YOU JESUS), in contrary to my initial disappointment (!); to money matters; to emotional unreadiness; to UNCERTAINTY (I cannot stress more on how much stress uncertainty is causing me). SO ANYWAY, i'm just glad that there's finally some structure in my life now. HELLO CLASSES. I've missed you. Rawr./

Haha every time when classes start before the semester, I am super duper excited. Midway, I try to STAY excited; at the end? I'm just excited it's coming to an end, or over with (FINALLY). And the cycle repeats itself in a very routine manner. Oh and at the end of every semester, I tell (or scold) myself that in the next semester, I'd start working on projects earlier, do constant revision, cut back on late nights, quit procrastinating etc. This cycle? Its repeated itself like for the last (at least!!!) TEN years of my life. GG.

I bought new books, albeit atypical from what I would usually buy, if I buy any books besides text books, that is. THREE some more. I hope I finish reading them, otherwise it would be a total waste of $.$. haha. And while reading a seemingly dry book, I realized I wanted to buy another book! Ah I hope I make this holiday absolutely productive! xx OOH AND NEW NAIL POLISH :D

Today was literally a "poor Michelle" day - no purse, i.e. no $$, which also meant no card, which ultimately meant no $$. MLS.

So this was me the last few days (ok actually last few days being the most recent three days =_=; i've been totally camera-unfriendly) in pictures. Finals FINALLY came to an end (yeah that was so lasterday's news, I know). Mom said when I got no exam I don't go online; in the midst of exams, always online. My excuse? Coping mechanism (really excuse lor *thick skin). One of those nights, the boy and I had a good talk and I kept trying to explain psych terminologies and how it was related to our lives and such. Then for a moment there, I hated the fact I chose this major because it gives me quite alot to think about (ONLY during exam periods) and ponder upon. Now that my hormones have re-balanced themselves and exam stress has flown out the window, I still love my major and IE owns me arse till August 7, with plenty of 'em rehearsals!

I am suddenly reminded of the time them boys asked me if I would prefer the combination of brill brains (like crazy smart brains *ahem* we all know whose brains) + no social life, or a combination mediocre brains + (current) social life

I think the answer lies within my favouritest quote ever. I won't say, but if you were observant enough, you'd know for sure.


Anyway, all that aside, I hope I can get decent results. =_= *shy

So what have you been busy with?


I spent a good part of my Sunday making/selling milkshakes which evolved as the ingredients slowly depleted. How? Started off with chocolate banana milkshake, vanilla milkshake and coke float. Then after we ran out of chocolate icecream, it was vanilla milkshake and banana milkshake. AFTER we ran out of vanilla ice-cream, it was milo-banana shake (ftw people loved it) and just coke - nearly resorted to condensed milk and banana shake (!!!) =_=. Then it was giving away (and eatinggg) the frozen leftover bananas.


Oh and the joy of making instant coffee and mixing according to our liking.

Here's to all of you who complain about my previous post i.e. "Blog skin change disaster", which was followed with a "brb =_=.". Hi now you get to see something else, yay!

Since i'm extremely behind all (or any, if at all?) my posts, I really can't be bothered about updating?

Classes started about a month ago (ooh it's been THAT long?). For everyday I go to classes, I either end at six (or slightly earlier, depending on the lecturer's liking?) or I wait a short while for Rachel and we go back at five (which is still pretty damn late?). Thank goodness, I have only four days of classes a week (not including the absurd Saturday replacements?). I just realised how much I adore parentheses and question marks?

Oh CNY is coming - can anyone tell me why that's such a celebration?


So much to say but I don't know where to start. That's a good start, isn't it? Sigh.

OH and my immune system is zilch - met a friend who was sick and two hours later? Exact same thing - fever and sore throat (here's where I yell MLS). Soon, i'll get you guys to pick up mls too - car circle thingamajig. Now my muscles and head feel funny, and I can't swallow properly (and it doesn't help that I still eat my chilli padis, curries etc etc).

I should plan a trip to visit (which one!); can we start classes in March please thank you, yay.

And, I need a job. *bitter.

Oh and we're going for a holiday; also i'm going for a holiday(-ish), be back three days before my finals. Talk about letting my hair downnnn o0o0o0o0h. kthxbai

Last night, I was cleaning some mess in my room, and I came across the guidelines for next semesters important dates etc. I read through the guidelines, it said Jan 11, so naturally I started freaking out. Why? Because initially I had this perception (or more like assumption) that class was starting after Jan 20th. Seriously, nine days less is a lot less. In nine days I can sleep 12hrs x 9days = 108 hrs. I get that much sleep, which is very rare! Now no more. WHAT?

*breaks away and checks Sept-Dec 09 timetable before I begin cursing the Uni admin*

*smacks forehead, bang head against wall*

It said Jan 11. I saw 20 and assumed it was Jan 20 - I thought my holidays were until Jan 20 (not much but bearable). It just said Dec 20 - Jan 11. Great. Now imma just dig a hole and swallow this misery; then again, i'm excited about school. Oh well. :) I'm pretty messed up. Luckily I checked first. =_='

To begin with, I've been running high on my sleep debts. =_= These assignments eat the living daylight out of you. I have an assignment due every Friday, starting tomorrow, for the next three weeks. How exciting, right? I am queen. Hypocrites. I need to remember drama script. Hypocrites. Oh, Adeline, Bel and I totally did some small skit in tutorial today about memory. "I remember Chuck kissing Blair!". Yeah. Haha. Psycho shit, these days. Lab reports lab reports. Research design. Procedures. Lab reports. Designs. Methods. Journals. Kill me please days. Reports. Labs. Lab reports. urgh. Life doesn't slow down for you, does it? AND OMG OTH! Ep07 was epic, can. I like. hahaha. The only things that keep me sane in this insanity. Monash-ians on holiday already! Boo.

You know what I need? I need a REM Rebound. Yes. Please. Tomorrow night.
