` Intuition

So I spent my free Friday morning in my dad’s office.
I never realized how efficient the HP Laser Jet printer is! So cool!! :) Woohoo.

Went to Batu Caves then another site with him after that.

Anyway, for those who don’t already know, I have two phones and two sim cards. Yeah. I’m a sucker at it. I can’t decide which to keep, which to lose. After all, it’s “cheaper” if we communicate on the same network, right? hah. Sure. Big deal. I don’t even reload one of my DiGi now because the DiGi coverage at school is like !@#@$%^&&*. Anyway, most of those I bother sms-ing or replying are Maxis/Hotlink users. Explains why I use that stupid Hotlink line that’s pretty troublesome (and more costly, btw). And for those of you who message my DiGi, sorry I haven’t replied cos I hardly check the phone, let alone reload it. So technically I only need one phone.

At nightfall, I watched what happens in Vegas. It’s a beautiful show. Not the storyline but Cameron Diaz. I think she’s one of those “stars” who actually grow old gracefully. She’s got wrinkles here and there. First I was like “oh dear, WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS?” *stares at wrinkles*. Then I realized what the media has done to us. We’re used to perfected botox induced facelifts, self-made double eyelids, higher nose bridges/cheek bones (yes I know my nose damn flat la, thank you but I don’t quite care now), and big boobs (yeah don’t laugh la). Swear when I was younger, I actually considered going for a nose job. Hahaha. Wtf right. Mahem. Anyway. Yeah. If Cameron Diaz hasn’t got her jobs done, I think she’s my model woman now. If she has, damn she got a cheap job done. Yes. When I start rambling and publicly declaring my thoughts and my previous thoughts, people start assuming I am troubled. Haha. Yeah. You and I know why.

Back to the phone story. At 1.10am, after the “what happens in Vegas”, I suddenly realized I lost my phone.. The Hotlink one, with all my credit. Hoho. I’m the champion. I used my house phone to call my cell for about 10 minutes, to no avail.

Dad
Me

Dad I lost my phone.
Oh that’s good news!
No, cos then I’ll have to use one of yours.
That’s even better news! Or you can use your old one.
DAD! Can you please ar?...

Then, I started scrambling around for my other hp (which I thought was out of credit). I said thought, cos it was supposed to be credit-less (the state it’s been in since before I left for Australia). Then I checked. Reload RM100. Yes la. Triple jackpotttt. Just like the movie.

Dad, you reloaded my phone ar?
Yeah. You said no credit. Digi RM100=1year.
Oh okayyyy. Thanks papa. :)

Haha. I know 100 bucks sounds like nothing much to jump about, but my dad knows I don’t use that phone, and yet he did it for me. Awh. So sweet loh. I beh tahan. Lol. Not like he doesn’t reload my other phones when I ask him, whenever, Literally. Btw, meet the newest addition to the family. Our Canon DSLR D40. It can take 6.5 frames in a second. My favourite feature of all. *squeals.

Let's see what we've got inside...

` stay beautiful

You see, I actually found no reason to blog.

But...

The sister flew to Korea last week for a piano competition.
Honestly, the family and I weren't expecting much, 'cept for her to gain experience.

Few days into the trip when mom called her, she went on and on ranting about how the 10 and 12 year old Indonesian kids could play well and what not. Mom and I made this bet with dad that she would come back a changed woman. She'd forget her quaintly planned music career and become a scientist of some sort. Yeah. And we bet on it with freaking German pork knuckles (which my hairdresser introduced to us, btw).

Today was the big day. The competition day. It was THE day.

Mom tried calling her the whole day but only managed to get her answering machine.

Mom was like "aiyo. Habis la. Dunno what happened already. Aiyo. She off her phone la. Aiyo how la..." *moans groan boans and every sighing in every language*

Suddenly, there was a message.

MY SISTER GOT SILVER FOR THE SOLO CATEGORY MANNNN.

Congrats laaaaa..

Omgosh. =_= wasted all the aiyos.

Like she said, all glory goes to God who has blessed her/us so abundantly.

Anyway Rachel, I lost the bet. *bah

haha.

Oh and if you think we're proud of the sister, think twice.

There's more than just us who're proud of her. There's a whole lot of us. :)

The baby's growing up. :)

Ps: I think the fact that a whole bunch of priests coming over to our house for the annual or semi-annual luncheon brought all the grace and blessings of change. :)

` a day late but worth the wait

Initially, I typed a whole long paragraph to start this post, long "stories" pertaining all the photographs, but I think it's redundant, because you know how much I appreciate having you as a friend. Happy birthday, friend. :)

Thank you, just for being there.

Mikey's surprise.

Langkawi

After our "journey to the smart tunnel"

Dare to be different.

Right. Easter. heh. :)

Pavillion and the RM10 parking. Lol

Does this look like a girl with 10 A's? 96.35 average and all? Haha. Yeah. Oh and this is a picture of her when she got her three high distinction results while we were in Australia. Can you imagine that before that, she was worried about failing? Yeah. Ish...

Always hard at work, even when it's for Sunkist. *rolls eyes*
